Achiltibuie is under 2 hours’ drive from Inverness taking the A832 then the A835 north towards Ullapool.
From Ullapool the journey is about 45 minutes by car to the village. Take the A835 north for 10 miles or so passing through Ardmair and keep going north. Turn left at the sign on the left side of the road marked 'Achiltibuie and the Summer Isles'. Follow this road, passing the imposing mountain of Stac Pollaidh until you reach Achiltibuie.
